Privacy Policy
Jodabros games ยท Effective 27 September 2026
This policy applies to all mobile games published by Jodabros ("we", "us"), listed below (each a "game"). It explains what information our games collect, why, and who it is shared with. Contact: jodabrosgames@gmail.com.
Games covered by this policy
- BazzaBee: online leaderboard, ads
- Run Jonah Run: ads
Our games do not require an account, do not ask for your email address, and do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location. Not every game uses every service described below; each section applies only to games that include that feature.
1. Information stored only on your device
Game progress, high scores, settings, chosen player names and purchase status are saved locally on your device. They are removed when you delete the game.
2. Online features such as leaderboards (Unity Gaming Services)
Games with online features, such as a global leaderboard, use Unity Gaming Services, provided by Unity Technologies. The game signs in anonymously, which creates a random player ID that is not linked to your name, email or Apple / Google account. Game data such as scores is sent to Unity with this player ID. A leaderboard shows your score together with the name you choose, or a randomly generated name. Anything on a leaderboard is visible to all players.
Unity may also receive technical information needed to operate these services and to measure how the game is used, such as your IP address, device model, operating system version and basic usage events. See Unity's privacy policy.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Free games may show ads through Google AdMob, for example between rounds or as an optional ad you choose to watch for an in-game reward. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your IP address, device and operating system information, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions, and your device's advertising identifier.
- iOS: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is only shared for tracking if the game asks for, and you grant, tracking permission.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Google settings.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
4. In-app purchases
In-app purchases (for example "Remove Ads") are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive your payment details. The game only checks with the store whether your account owns a purchase.
5. Why we use this information
- To provide online features you use, such as leaderboards.
- To show ads that fund our free games (our legitimate interest, and your consent where the law requires it).
- To deliver and restore purchases.
- To keep our games working and improve them.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. How long information is kept
Data on your device stays until you delete the game. Online data such as leaderboard entries is kept while the feature is running, or until you ask us to delete it. Google and Unity keep data according to their own policies linked above.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To delete a leaderboard entry or make any other request, email jodabrosgames@gmail.com with the game name and the player name you use.
8. Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through one of our games, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
